Added washi to the mix to complement the colors. Looks like arranging flowers is becoming my next favorite thing.

If only I could find mason jars here. Yesterday’s market trip didn’t lead me to any source or supplier.

Happiness in Flowers. Recycled jars and Market Flowers are my tandem for a happy day.

Then, today’s spur of the moment DIY - Washi Jar Caps :)

Thought of spending some time first doing crafts before heading back to writing, and this is the result.

Upcycle jar caps by decorating it, the easiest and handy would be using washi tapes. It makes it instantly cuuuute!

What I’ve been up to lately

I miss it here! Failed to update for so long, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t busy with any projects. I was able to do a bunch actually - recycled, customized, pinterest-inspired ones.

Gift wrapping. No gift is simple for me. I enjoy gift wrapping so much. For this one, I used a wrapper to tie a gift when I run out of lace ribbon.

Decluttering. Instead of creating a mess with receipts scattered everywhere in the house, why don’t you stock them in a jar. Exactly what I did with mine. This photo was shot the first day I started it, now my jar is almost full.

Printing. The next best thing to taking photos is printing it. Since I collected a lot of shots from the past months, I decided to make photo strips so I can print them all.

Bookmarking. My new book partner - making use of the photo strip.

Framing. I just love collecting frames! I try to buy one whenever I go to the mall. Along with the photo strips, I also printed inspirational quotes, song lyrics and travel photos for display in my frames.

Traveling. A snapshot from a travel I recently had. Sharing more in the days to come. Especially this uber crafty place I visited over the holiday!

Sorry for my absence of late. My DIY love was put into the test when I agreed to be the Production Designer for a music video shoot.

It wasn’t easy, but it was so much fun! Thanks to Direk Carlo Alvarez for trusting in me.

‘til the next shoot!

Felt my desk looks safe & sweet, so I picked something edgy from the magazine and framed it. That should bring a little bit of attitude to my work space.

Yeah, magazine clippings and frames are my tools for some easy desk makeover.

Dropped by @heimastore in CubaoX yesterday and got me some #paperclub wrapper and pins. Next time, it’ll be washi tapes and that Keep Calm poster!

Took the cue from Paulo Coelho and planned worthwhile journeys this February. Now that I have more time to go out, no excuse was valid to not make this happen.

Well, traveling doesn’t end here. I still look forward to visiting crafty places and destinations. But of course, I got to go back to doing some DIY because I did miss it!

A weekend spent for the heart and soul.

First stop was at Clark, Pampanga for the Hot Air Balloon Festival then next day was up, up in the mountains at the Monasterio de Tarlac.
